A user is considered an entry added into the login/user area of the system. If a 2 user license is purchased only 2 users can be added into the system. The system ensures only 2 people are logged in con-currently.
You can add more users to your Hire it out licence at any time however price breaks are given for purchasing upfront. An example of how this works is the following scenario;
Say you have 14 user licences then you add 1 more approx 6 months after the first. You may then decide to add 2 more users after 12 months. In the above scenario you would have to pay purchase on the individual user amounts and licence renewal on 14 + 1 + 2 which would work out more expensive than buying 17 users from day one.
This fee includes licence to use Hire it out and unlimited telephone support. Although we encourage users to teach themselves using the system, we are not going to shy away from the fact that sometimes people need help fast. Telephone support is a perfect way to do this.
In some instances we will provide system support via remote login (i.e Teamviewer or remote desktop) to assist in solving your problems. Call outs will incur a charge at Hire it outs normal hourly rate.
Upon agreement, we will also provide free software upgrades of the product. The dates of these upgrades will vary however in order to receive this update you must have paid your yearly licence fee.
We will invoice you every 12 months.
Hire it out provides 1 day of training and installation whereby we can assist with setting up and training staff.
Any future training sessions will be available on a contracted basis at the normal hourly rate.
Hire it out constantly encounters situations whereby companies have been locked into software products simply because it contains data that cannot be easily exported.
Our belief is that your data is your intellectual property and options should be made available to allow clients to export data to a number of different formats.
Therefore Hire it Out allows clients to export all of their data to Excel, Word or a delimited text file. If you have a suggestion for another export format then let us know. Chances are another company may want the exact same option and we will include it in an update.
The Hire it out source code, database structure, interface and program itself remains the intellectual property of Hire it out and cannot be copied or redistributed under any circumstances.
As we are the developers (located in Melbourne) we often get requests from existing and potential clients to customise hire it out to specific business needs.
Examples of this could be linking into existing accounting systems through to fast tracking enhancements in functionality of the product. Our development team is willing to work with clients to decide on customisation requirements and costs involved. All customisation work and Intellectual property pertaining too remains the ownership of Hire it Out.

Hire it out running on 32 Bit requires;
Hire It Out requires either Windows XP / Vista SP2 / 7 / Server 2003 with at least 1 Gb of memory. .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is also required.
Hire it out running on 64 Bit requires Hire It Out requires Windows XP SP2 / Vista SP2 / 7 / Server 2008 (x64) with at least 1Gb of memory .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is also required.
Servicing and Tagging HIO Module requires .NET Framework 4.0
All standard printers should be capable of printing Hire it Out reports and page printouts.
An Internet connection is required for activating the software and access to the system from a remote location. A static IP address is also highly recommended.
As the software has developed and changed rapidly over the past 2 years so to has the manual! We are currently working on developing online forum capabilities which should be available towards the end of 2012. Remember you can always contact us via phone or email if you have any questions on how to use hire it out.
At this stage there is no plan to develop for Mac or Linux exclusively. However clients who have Mac environments usually take advantage of either virtualisation on Mac/Linux or connecting to Remote Desktop Connection on a windows server based environment. Hire it out can also provide Virtual cloud hosting of hire it out and other windows application please contact us for more info.
We can import from existing excel files or database systems if we have ODBC access to the system you are importing from. Cost may apply.
Hire it out forms are built in crystal reports and currently only Hire it out developers can make changes to these. Part of the installation process includes a fee charged to customise forms to your company letter head and layout. Whilst we find that customers do not alter the layout all that often if changes area required in the future a fee may apply.
We currently do not have an off the shelf payment gateway solution however we can integrate into a number third party gateways via customisation if required.
After conducting some extensive market research we found that existing and potential clients were confused with the varying differences of modules and more importantly wanted complete access to all functionality that would assist them in their business. We therefore split the products into 3 different versions aimed at 3 different unique industries. Whilst each version is slightly tailored for there unique industries, they all share the same underlying technology and features meaning your business wont be missing out on functionality!
Hire it out will work in a network based environment. If you require a more complex configuration i.e VPN, Virtual remote servers then please do not hesitate to contact us. We can advise current IT integrators or customise and build from the ground up for you.
Yes, we currently have clients in NZ, PNG and are not limiting ourselves to overseas markets. Our personal are currently fluent in English, French, Dutch and Cantonese so please advise if this is of benefit to you. Franchise and Exclusive distribution opportunities are still available in some overseas regions. Please contact us if you require more information.
Currently no iPad or iPhone App has been written however we have a number of clients who access Hire it out via Remote Desktop Connection to a Windows Server that hosts hire it out. Our Test and Tag area of hire it out has touchscreen functionality, request us to demo if this is of interest to you.
Yes we can integrate with third party APIs our developers are greatly skilled in this department. Let us know which API you would like to integrate and we can advise the time and costs involved.
